In partnership with the Savannah State University National Alumni Association Atlanta Downtown Chapter, the Tiger Education Foundation mission is to provide scholarships and financial supports for students attending Savannah State University.  The Tiger Education Foundation, Inc./SSUNAA Atlanta Downtown chapter offers a yearly scholarship to deserving students. The scholars can reapply each year based on maintaining a 3.0 GPA while attending Savannah State University.  Over the last 10 years, over 30 students from the Metro Atlanta Schools were awarded over $70,000 in scholarships. We are passionate about supporting the education of our students, and the scholarship funds raised from our events goes a long way in helping deserving students achieve their academic goals.
